KELLY MARTINEZ.... Visionary Artist, Designer & Sculptor
ORIGINAL SCULPTURE CHARACTERS.... GOBLINS, GOTHIQUE & WYLDWOOD CREATURES
As an artist I have always experimented with other materials to those I was trained to use. A few years ago I was very lucky to have the opportunity to be trained by the truly brilliant Wendy Froud in her sculpture technique. I leaped at the chance to sit with this incredibly talented sculptor, whose work has graced films, books & countless international exhibitions... & learn how to create larger versions of the creatures that live in my world & imagination! This has led to a fascinating journey of discovery!! As with all of my Original art the pieces are resonant with story & character. I have created three distinct worlds that these characters inhabit... the Realm of the Wyldwood, Gothique& The Goblin Kingdom.... inspiration comes from Folklore, Theatre & the art of my future husband, the Artist/Illustrator & Folklorist... Marc Potts. My collaborator with costume advice & construction is my Textile Artist & Theatrical Costumier, Mum, Jacqui Martinez.

Hubert is probably the most amazing storyteller of all times!! His tales are filled with all manner of magic, mystery, and bravery.... of beautiful damsels, wicked witches and wizards... and strangely ... the handsome hero of these wonderful stories is always himself!!

GASPAR GALLERIDA ........ Realm of the Wyldwood
Gaspar is another of the Wyldwood Magi.... another of our magical travellers... those who wander the world in search of spells and enchantments to bring back to the Realm. gaspar is an Arabian traveller... and a supreme hunter with the bow. Finally he has returned bringing many tales, ointments and perfumes, gold and riches!!

PROCKLINGTON JON ... Realm of the Wyldwood
Procklington Jon is one of the most popular of all the Urchin clan. He likes a simple life... tending his vegetable patch, sipping the honey mead he is famous for and gathering nuts and berries as he wanders the hedgerows aroung the Wyldwood Realm. Sometimes he is almost seen by humans... but then, being a magical creature he can very quickly shapeshift and bewitch the sight .... so all you would see is a humble hedgehog!

POLLY PYEWACKETT... Realm of the Wyldwood
Pretty Polly Pyewackett has SO many admirers in the Wyldwood Realm... she loves to gather wild flowers and herbs... with which she makes perfumes and posies. These she sells to passing travellers with a sweet smile and a blessing of luck and love! Polly also makes wonderful jams, pickles and jellies... from all the bounty of the hedgerow!

PRINCE HORATIO CHARMING...... Realm of the Wyldwood
Poor Prince Horatio... he is such a diehard romantic! He sits and daydreams by the pools and streams... idly writing his beautiful poetry... of love and fair maidens, of princesses and sweethearts! Prince Horatio does have a sweetheart... and one day he will win her, he has her picture in his little bag and a love letter telling her of his heart's wishes! All he needs is a mgical kiss from his true hearted maiden... but he is just too shy to talk to her!!

The Professor of magical mysteries... Professor Polidori, is a stern character, and is somewhat in a world of his own! Such a devout scholar is he that his life is devoted to the study of magic... such a respected teacher is he that students clamour to his classroom door. Here they will learm secrets brought by the Magi.... from long ago times and far away realms!

ALLAWITIUOS SQUIB... Realm of the Wyldwood
Little Allawitious Squib is probably the most gentle dragon it would ever be your pleasure to meet! He is a funny little fellow, for although he is from a long line of very respected fire breathing dragon, he would rather use his gift to create wonderful firework displays! Allawitious is all dressed up for the Masquerade Ball that is held once a year in the very heart of the Wyldwood... and his invitation is clutched firmly in his hand!

TABITHA WHISKERS ... Realm of the Wyldwood
Sweet little Tabitha Whiskers... although a quite precocious puss, she is also very kind and loves a good party! She has been invited to her friends party this very night... a party of friends who will attend the Masquerade Ball together! She has her very best new gown on... and has primped her hair into the most fantastical style.. she has even bought a new ribbon for her tail!

TOM TITMOUSE... Realm of the Wyldwood
What a happy fellow Tom Titmouse is... such a houseproud chap too! His favourite time of the year is late Summer and early Autumn. It is then he travels with his friend Procklington Jon, gathering nuts and berries... and sipping honey mead with elderflower! Tom can sometimes be heard scampering aroung village houses... as he helps himself to a little bit of bread... and maybe a little bit of cheese!

SYLVANUS the FAUN ... Realm of the Wyldwood
Sylvanus is sometimes feared in the Wyldwood Realm, and always respected. He is as ancient as time itself, and has so much magic at his beck and call he is not to be meddled with! He is a true wild creature, a force of nature itself.... and subject to none of our laws and rules. He is helpful though to those true in heart... and those in true need of help. He is a Woodland Shaman... approach with caution, and leave with a blessing
